Email offering $100.00 courtesy?

Did anyone else just get an email asking to remove several opps and the company would credit you $100.00 via paypal? I'm slightly hesitant to believe it, but it honestly looks official and is the same company that this happened with a week or so ago.
Before I start yanking posts, should I yank posts?

I got the same email and went ahead and removed the post and then followed the instructions.

Me too. A chance for a hundred and all you have to do is remove a few posts? Who wouldn't do it?

I would too ... especially at times like this ... I hardly get an opp ever since the pr sank.

Thats cool! If I had gotten the email, I would have yanked the opp. A hundred bucks is a hundred bucks.

Well I'll look and see what opps I had, I think it mentioned 3 or 4 and I'll yank them. Although I think I got an email from Veronique last week asking me to yank one as well.

I just remembered a really long time ago someone sending out a fake email asking people to delete something so I wanted to check and see what the general consensus was.

Tina, it's bizrate. I don't think it's a huge deal to mention them since it's been well publicized that they don't want a ton of links from ads anymore. But more power to them I'll take the $100!

I received it as well and took the opps down. As long as I get official word from PPP, then I am fine with deleting - especially when I've already been paid. The courtesy payment is nice as well and could be used right now with holiday expenses coming and pagerank/income dropping. I just hope the amount wasn't a typo or something. I'd hate to get my hopes up for nothing.

I will be curious to see who reports getting the $100 because this smells really fishy to me.
