It's a crowd mentality, they're really speaking out of ignorance more than anything else. It doesn't appear that they even know how profoundly different PPP's replacement SocialSpark will be in comparison, making their tired old arguments irrelevant.
Michael Arrington is a real piece of work though. No moral objection to taking ads from Izea, a company whose PPP product he thinks is "deeply flawed," just you know, so long as his readers don't mind too much.
